Frank A. Del Rio to Step Down as President of Oceania Cruises

Oceania Cruises has announced a leadership transition as Frank A. Del Rio is stepping down as President after two years of dedicated service to the cruise line. Del Rio, whose tenure helped shape the luxury cruise line’s identity, follows in the footsteps of his father, Oceania Cruises’ founder, leaving behind a lasting legacy.

This will be the first time since Oceania Cruises’ founding in 2003 that there will be no family member involved.

Leaving a Legacy

With over 14 years with the brand, Del Rio also served as Oceania’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Vice President of Destination Services and Product Development, among other roles.

As Oceania Cruises continues to evolve and grow, the company remains committed to consistency and excellence in luxury cruising. Leadership has emphasized that its experienced team—many of whom have been with the company for decades—will continue to uphold the brand’s high standards and exceptional service.

Jason Montague, who recently rejoined Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings as Chief Luxury Officer overseeing Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, is now taking on day-to-day leadership responsibilities for both brands. This follows the previously announced departure of Regent’s President, Andrea DeMarco.
