Intrepid Travel is inviting travel advisors in the U.S. and Canada to share their personal “Intrepid Effect” story for a chance to win a trip to Peru worth up to $3,500.
The giveaway, open from June 24 through July 31, 2026, is available to registered travel advisors and requires participants to complete a short entry form describing a memorable Intrepid experience. No purchase is necessary, and advisors are limited to one entry each.

The promotion coincides with the launch of Intrepid‘s new global purpose platform, The Intrepid Effect, which is designed to help travelers—and the advisors who sell to them—better understand the social, environmental and economic impact of their trips.
New Tools for Advisor Conversations
As part of the initiative, Intrepid is introducing dedicated messaging for travel advisors to communicate the company’s approach to responsible travel to clients and prospective travelers.
The platform focuses on real-world examples from Intrepid itineraries rather than broad impact claims. Launching with a new hero film and refreshed website content, The Intrepid Effect aims to connect travel experiences with measurable outcomes for local communities.
The initiative also comes as travel brands face increased scrutiny around sustainability and impact-related marketing claims.
“In a changing regulatory landscape, we want to ensure travelers can clearly see and understand the small difference their individual journeys make,” said Hazel McGuire, Chief Marketing Officer at Intrepid Travel, in a press statement. “Rather than leading with aspirational claims or unverified impact metrics, which can be commonplace in the travel industry, Intrepid wants to shift the focus to real experiences and tangible moments that travelers can see, feel and understand.”
Intrepid also plans to release a new Responsible Marketing & PR Policy, updating its Ethical Marketing Guidelines with additional standards related to transparency, public relations, data and digital marketing.
