Edie Rodriguez, CEO of Crystal Cruises, will host the line’s annual President’s Cruise this year aboard the Crystal Symphony when it sails from Rome to Dubai on Nov. 4. The voyage marks the return of Crystal’s ocean ships to the Holy Land—the last voyage being in 2012—and Arabian Peninsula, featuring calls to Limassol, Cyprus; Haifa and Ashdod, Israel; Aqaba, Jordan; and Salalah and Muscat, Oman, as well as transit on the Suez Canal. For the 18-day sailing, Rodriguez and her husband, Tom, will join guests for festive receptions and parties, as well as specially planned experiences ashore, including a special President’s shore excursion in the Rose City of Petra and an overnight stay in Muscat in time for the Sultan’s extravagant birthday celebrations. Additional activities include adventurous outings such as archaeological expeditions, rock climbing and Indian Ocean scuba dives, plus more indulgent experiences such as sky tea at the opulent Burj Al Arab Hotel and Sunset at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. All-inclusive cruise only fares for the Holy Land & Suez Canal sailing start at $4,750 pp. For more information, call (888) 799-2437, or visit crystalcruises.com.
