Continuing Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of featuring a Disney character on each ship’s stern, Disney Imagination will feature Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” accompanied by Sebastian and other undersea friends.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, guests can expect Disney-themed entertainment, character experiences, diverse dining options, dedicated spaces for children and teens and adults-only areas.

The ship will build on Disney and OLC’s longstanding partnership to bring Disney experiences to families in Japan. Additional details about Disney Imagination are expected ahead of its 2029 debut.

Recently, Disney Cruise Line revealed more details about its newest ship, Disney Believe, which will sail from Port Everglades, with a launch date set for December 2027.
