Ensemble Takes Horizons to Sea in 2027 Events Calendar

Ensemble has set the dates for its 2027 events, a calendar in which each gathering is built for a different part of its network—Horizons, the yearly event that brings the whole membership together, moves onto a cruise ship, a first for the event. The schedule runs from a virtual session in February to a recognition trip in November, with stops in between for the full network and for agency leadership.

The Ensemble Evolution

Ensemble says each event’s design begins with who will attend and what they should take home, rather than a shared template, which is why the formats differ so much from one to the next. “No two Ensemble events are designed to accomplish exactly the same thing. We start by looking at who we’re bringing together and what we want them to walk away with, then build the format around that,” said VP of Events Shannon Rutherford in a press statement. Community, Ensemble says, is its main advantage for members.

The largest change is to Horizons 2027, scheduled for April 5-9 aboard Norwegian Joy. Agency owners, managers, advisors, partners and members of Ensemble leadership will be on board, and the program combines education, networking and partner meetings with time aboard to try the cruise product themselves. Ensemble also plans to use the event to present the people, tools and programs it expects to guide the network going forward.

Two other parts of the calendar are open to members more broadly. Ensemble Uncharted, a virtual event on Feb. 10, gives members anywhere access to professional development and other learning without the need to travel. Skyline, Ensemble’s regional series, brings events into the home markets of members and partners and will return in early 2028.

The remaining two events serve narrower groups. Ensemble Summit, July 20-22, is designed for agency owners and managers, with sessions on the practical problems and opportunities of operating an agency, open discussion among peers and ideas meant for immediate use. Ensemble Beyond, Nov. 6-11, is a recognition trip for the network’s top-performing members and partners, who travel to a destination together; the 2026 edition went to China.

More details on both events will be released in the coming months.
