If you have clients dreaming of Europe in 2027, Delta is offering more ways to get there from across the U.S.
The airline is adding new nonstop service from Boston to Venice and Detroit to Athens, and launching its first-ever nonstop Austin-Paris route. Delta is also extending several popular transatlantic routes into spring, fall and winter.
The expanded schedule means more gateways to consider when matching European itineraries with clients’ home airports—and more opportunities to build trips around shoulder-season travel.
Boston Adds Venice
Starting May 7, 2027, Delta will operate four weekly nonstop flights between Boston and Venice, with seasonal service scheduled through Oct. 29.
The route will make Boston Delta’s third U.S. gateway to Venice and expand the airline’s already substantial Italy schedule. Delta will also increase Boston-Milan service to daily routes in 2027.
Nonstop to Athens from Detroit
Delta will launch three-times-weekly nonstop service from Detroit to Athens beginning June 8, 2027, with flights operating through Oct. 28.
That gives travelers throughout the Midwest a new nonstop option for Greece, while Delta says connections through Detroit will provide access to more than 40 U.S. destinations. The route will operate on an Airbus A330-200, with Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
Austin Gets First Nonstop to Paris
The new Boston and Detroit routes join Delta’s previously announced daily Austin-Paris service, launching March 27, 2027.
The route marks Austin’s first-ever nonstop service to Paris and will give travelers one-stop access to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India and Africa through Delta’s Air France-KLM partnership. Flights will operate on an Airbus A330-900neo.
Delta is also stretching its 2027 transatlantic season, which could give advisors more flexibility when planning spring and fall European vacations. Among the changes, seasonal service from Minneapolis-St. Paul and Detroit to Rome will begin in early March, while Seattle-Rome returns in April. New York-JFK service to Catania, Porto, Prague and Copenhagen will also return earlier, along with Boston and Seattle service to Barcelona and Atlanta service to Edinburgh.
