Luxury rafting tour company Western River Expeditions has announced a limited number of rare, last minute openings on select departures through the Grand Canyon, Cataract Canyon and Desolation Canyon.
Western River Expeditions trips are typically booked a year or more in advance, so these newly released seats offer spontaneous travelers an unprecedented chance to experience the tours.
“These are golden tickets,” said Brandon Lake, Co-Owner of Western River Expeditions, in a press release statement. “August and September on the river are some of the most magical times to go. The water’s warmer, the skies are stunning, temperatures begin to cool and the crowds begin to fade.”
Western River Expeditions Trips On Offer
The available trips include the Grand Canyon 6-7 Day Expedition, featuring 188 miles of world-class whitewater, hidden waterfalls, helicopter exit and starlit camping. Departures are available on August 23, 24 and 25. The Cataract Canyon 4-Day Expedition features Class III–V rapids, remote desert wilderness and epic Canyonlands scenery. Departures are available on August 12, September 2 and 9. The Desolation Canyon 5-Day Family Adventure is perfect for families and features beachside camping, scenic flight, kid-friendly rapids and hikes. Departures are available August 15 and September 5.
