ANI Shoal Bay Brings Exclusive-Use Luxury Back to Anguilla

Anguilla will gain a new exclusive-use resort in January 2027, when ANI Private Resorts opens ANI Shoal Bay on the island’s northern coastline. The 15-suite estate, billed as the company’s new global flagship, joins ANI properties in the Dominican Republic, Thailand and Sri Lanka. Each is reserved for one group at a time, supported by a 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio.

Anguilla Ups the Luxury Ante

The location holds history for the brand. Tim Reynolds established ANI Anguilla in 2011, along with the first ANI Art Academy. “Luxury today is no longer defined by access; it is defined by freedom,” said Yeshi Phuntsho, CEO of ANI Private Resorts, in a press statement.

AW² designed the estate, with partner architects Reda Amalou and Stephanie Ledoux leading the project. It’s located along the Shoal Bay-Island Harbour Marine Park, where natural limestone, pale sands and silvered woods echo the island’s textures. Living areas open onto terraces and central pools. The 15 ocean-facing suites accommodate up to 30 guests, and the signature Shoal Bay Suite has its own rooftop deck. Twelve of the 15 suites are fully wheelchair accessible.

A resident General Manager and a Guest Experience Curator lead the staff, joined by private executive chefs, estate mixologists, wellness therapists and a tennis professional. Of note: there is no fixed schedule; each stay is built around the group.

On property, the private beach club offers cabanas, sun loungers, a private kitchen and a fully stocked bar. The spa features a hydrotherapy circuit with a hammam-inspired steam room, cold plunge and open-air jacuzzi, plus two treatment rooms; up to 12 treatments are included daily. A multilevel tower houses a Technogym fitness center, an open-air yoga platform and a supervised kids club with its own pool, waterslide and activities program. Across four beachfront acres, guests also find a main infinity pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a putting green, and complimentary snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and Hobie Cats.

Rates for exclusive use start at $35,000++ per night, with a minimum stay, and scale to group size rather than price per person. The rate covers full-board dining, premium wines and spirits, daily wellness treatments, activities and childcare. Bitcoin payment is accepted. Guests can also visit the ANI Art Academies studio in Anguilla, founded by Reynolds to provide aspiring artists from under-resourced communities with a tuition-free, multiyear fine art education. Visitors can meet the artists and buy original works directly.
