Following the success of its inaugural Asia-Pacific season last year, Swan Hellenic is expanding its 2027 lineup with an enhanced collection of cultural expedition voyages. To mark the launch, the cruise line is introducing its Asia Unlocked promotion, offering a complimentary upgrade to a balcony stateroom and Gold WiFi on new bookings made by Nov. 9, 2026.

The lineup, spanning from March 8 to Oct. 12, 2027, has expanded from five to 10 cultural expedition voyages, including the addition of two New Zealand voyages at the beginning of the season and deep exploration of Japan at the end, with two entirely new voyages that each feature a visit to Busan in the Republic of Korea.

Centered around three themes—anthropology, history and nature—these voyages will explore the cultures and traditions of the South Pacific and East Asia; the region’s biodiverse marine life, geology and endemic flora and wildlife; and WWII sites across Asia-Pacific. Additionally, the itineraries, which vary in length from 10 to 13 nights, have been designed so that your clients combine them to create Grand Voyages that fit their interests. All sailings are on the 152-guest, scandi-design SH Minerva expedition ship.

“We’re proud to be more than doubling the number of our cultural expedition voyages in the Asia-Pacific for 2027,” said Swan Hellenic Chief Commercial Officer Mario Bounas in a media statement. “Following the strong success of last year’s decision to take SH Minerva into this region for the first time, we’ve been determined to meet and surprise the unexpectedly strong demand. So we worked closely with regional experts to enhance the breadth, depth and variety of our Asia-Pacific 2027 Season, while also expanding it to include the majestic beauty of New Zealand and more of Japan. Our Asia Unlocked offer is a further expression of this commitment, bringing free upgrades to a balcony stateroom and Gold WiFi for all new bookings completed by Nov. 9, 2026.”
