MSC Cruises has opened bookings for a two-story villa aboard MSC World Atlantic that sleeps up to eight guests and combines MSC Yacht Club service with a kids’ suite, a private cinema and family play spaces.
The Grand Hamptons Villa is the sole accommodation of its type on the ship, designed for extended families, from large and multigenerational families to two families sailing together. “As demand for family and multigenerational travel continues to grow, we are constantly looking for new ways to elevate our guest experience to create unique and memorable experiences,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, in a press statement. “The Grand Hamptons Villa reflects our commitment to evolving our premium family vacation offering through innovative accommodations and experiences. As a family-owned company, we understand what makes a great family holiday and the importance of creating accommodations that enable families to make the most of their time together while enjoying the space and flexibility they need.”
That space adds up to more than 2,475 sq. ft. inside and out. The primary stateroom includes a walk-in closet, a vanity and an ocean-view balcony with an outdoor shower. Children get a suite of their own with a private bathroom and custom bunk beds, each with its own TV screen, while a separate twin bedroom and a double cabin complete the sleeping space.
MSC Makes Room for Family Fun
Shared areas center on a double-height living room with a transformative ceiling, panoramic ocean views, a private library, a kitchenette, a bar and space for dining and play. A climbing tower connects it to a ship-inspired play area, where a secret door hides a new surprise daily. The Entertainment Loft adds a LEGO wall, a private theater lounge for movies and a digital gaming table, while the oceanfront terrace has a whirlpool, deck games and lounge seating.
Villa guests receive MSC Yacht Club benefits, including entry to MSC Yacht Club areas and concierge and butler service around the clock. Inclusions also cover unlimited specialty dining, a Fun Pass, Wi-Fi, the Premium Extra Drinks package and a cleaning team assigned to the villa. Storyland Studios collaborated on the Hamptons-inspired design.
MSC World Atlantic will sail from Port Canaveral starting in November 2027 on voyages to the Eastern and Western Caribbean that alternate between seven and 14 nights, with calls that include Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the line’s private Bahamas island.
