Costa Cruises will add two new Western Mediterranean itineraries aboard Costa Toscana for the winter 2025–2026 season, expanding its regional deployment.
One itinerary explores exclusive destinations between North Africa and Andalusia, while the other focuses on Italy’s gulfs with locally inspired experiences.
Sailing off on January 2026, the 10-day journey from Savona, Italy to Palermo, Italy, explores Andalusia, Morocco and Tunisia, with such highlights as crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to reach Tangier, Morocco, with its white alleys, the Kasbah and promontory of Cape Spartel; a nightfall stop in the Alboran Sea to view the star-filled night sky; to admire the stars and constellations, visible like nowhere else; and a visit to La Goulette (Tunis), Tunisia, with strolls through the ruins of Carthage, the souk and scents of the Medina.
Costa Cruises’ 7-day Gulfs of Italy sailing, meanwhile, runs through December 2025 on board Costa Toscana, with stops in Italy, France and Spain. It starts in Savona, and then reaches Marseille, with its Old Port and the golden dome of Notre-Dame de la Garde, and on to lively Barcelona. After a night stop in the Balearic Sea to observe the stars, the ship continues towards the Gulf of Naples to admire the charm of its colors, then on to Civitavecchia, gateway to Rome, and finally La Spezia, among the UNESCO World Heritage seaside villages of the Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets.
