Carnival Cruise Lines’ Carnival Liberty has returned to service following a comprehensive dry dock that added new features to the ship. The vessel joins sister ship Carnival Valor, which returned to Port NOLA last month with similar enhancements following a dry dock.
New additions to Carnival Liberty include the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a special space honoring military service members and their families. The ship also now features a WaterWorks aqua park, with new slides added, as well as a new mini golf course. The ship’s spa has rebranded as a Cloud9 Spa and has received a revitalization that includes refreshed décor, upgraded beauty stations, a modernized fitness center, a new Elamis Boutique, as well as new steam rooms and saunas. The ship’s casino has also been upgraded with a new layout and additional slot machines and table games.
New Additions to Carnival Liberty
Further additions include a Dream Studio for personalized photo sessions, as well as a Carnival Adventures venue – a one-stop shop for guests to learn about and book shore excursions. The retail FUN Shops have been revamped with new displays, and a new High Spirits liquor store has also been added.
The ship’s dry dock also prioritized accessibility, with upgrades throughout the ship including enhanced pathways to improved amenities in several public spaces and cabins.
Carnival Liberty offers week-long sailings to popular destinations in The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean. On July 23, the ship will make its first visit to Celebration Key, Carnival’s new exclusive destination.
