Tauck is taking its European river cruise offer to new heights with the addition of six brand new itineraries for 2024—all with an added twist that will appeal to the clients on your list looking for unique culinary experiences. Beyond the exquisite menu, the setting of each dinner makes them truly unforgettable.

And there’s another big plus: clients can enjoy pre or post-cruise hotel stays in new-to-the-brand cities, including Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany and Montreux and Geneva, Switzerland.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be expanding our river cruise offerings in such an unprecedented way, with exciting new itineraries that will appeal to our loyal past guests and new travelers alike,” said Tauck CEO Dan Mahar in a press statement. “These signature land experiences are included in our cruise prices, they feature exclusive Tauck-guided sightseeing, and they boast stays at wonderful properties such as the Fairmont Montreux Palace, the Riessersee Hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and the InterContinental Geneve in Geneva.”

Tauck New Itineraries & Memorable Meals

This is the biggest number of new itineraries the company has ever added in a single year. Among the highlights of the special venues for the new onshore dinners are evenings at the Chateau du Taillis in France and the Duke of Uzes’ family castle.

The Chateau du Taillis is part of the new 8-day River Seine: Chateaux, Impressionism & Normandy itinerary. Your clients will enjoy a private evening with a tour of this Italian Renaissance mansion built in 1530, dinner, and music. The evening at the Duche d’Uzes is featured in the new 14-day La Belle Vie: The Rhone, Geneva and The Riviera itinerary and also includes a private tour with dinner and cocktails. This structure was once the site of a Roman governor’s home and housed an exiled 9th-century duchess.

Other itineraries include extraordinary tasting tours (think craft beer in Dusseldorf or wine tastings in Burgundy) and lunches at Germany’s highest peak, a private ranch in Provence or the historic Weltenburg Abbey in Bavaria.

The specialty experiences are included in the price of the cruise, as well as all shore excursions, all gratuities, all onboard beverages (including all beer, wine and spirits), airport transfers, luggage handling and more.
