On this trip, you will join Excellent Guides Tz. Co, Serena Hotels, Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti and Bougainvillea Group of Lodges to explore Tanzania.
On this FAM you’ll learn how safe going on an African safari is, go behind the scenes to some of East Africa’s finest safari lodges, camps, and hotels, and learn about the community and conservation programs the company supports. Plus, you’ll also visit the Maasai Villages, enjoy lunch in the bush, and experience sundown at Serengeti.
After your arrival in Tanzania, you’ll head to Arusah Serena Hotel where you’ll be staying and having dinner. Arusha is known as the safari capital of the world but is often overlooked for more glamorous or better-known areas such as the Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. But Arusha National Park has lots of experiences to offer clients such as a hike on Mount Meru, cultural tours, and more.
On this trip you will also go on a game drive at Manyara National Park to spot the tree-climbing lions, and have a picnic lunch overlooking Lake Manyara. Then you’ll stay at Manyara Serena Lodge. Next you’ll head for inspections in Karatu—a small Town near Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater—before departing to Serengeti National Park. On your way visit the Masai Village for a cultural encounter as you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive and picnic lunch in Serengeti. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
The next day it’s off to Central Serengeti National Park for a 3-hour game drive, then you’ll visit lodges and camps around the area for inspection and a lunch break. In the evening, you’ll head for a sunset game drive. On the fifth day of your FAM, you’ll have a full day of game drives in the Serengeti Plains. The next day you’ll explore the Ngorongoro Crater on a half-day game drive followed by an overnight at the Ngorongoro Serna Lodge.
On the last day, you’ll visit Arusha City and stop at a few properties around the crater rim before heading to the airport for your fight home.
