Zane Kerby, President & CEO of ASTA, told attendees—70 percent of whom were first-time participants—that the Expo serves as a master class in river cruising, highlighting the category’s strong potential for advisor sales growth. Kerby added that Europe represents 90 percent of river cruise demand and 60 percent of passengers with 80 percent of the revenue generated by North America travelers. Customer satisfaction is approaching 90 percent, a factor contributing to the continued growth of the river cruise sector.
