Come Nov. 19, Apple Vacations will launch its new booking engine/travel agent portal, MyAppleOnline, powered by VAX VacationAccess. It’s been developed exclusively for Apple Vacations by the technology firm Trisept Solutions, for travel occurring May 1, 2019 and beyond.

MyAppleOnline integrates with the Travel Agent Cafe while introducing numerous new efficiencies through VAX that will provide travel advisors more control over bookings and modifications, in addition to a host of engagement tools to connect with clients.

Technological improvements include an intuitive flow and design with quick access functions as well as individual agent log-ins to help travel advisors more efficiently manage bookings. Agents will be able to set their own surcharge amounts with options to display as part of the package price or as a separate fee. Sending e-mail reminders as well as scheduling and applying payments also becomes a simple process with MyAppleOnline.

Convenient calendars for hotel availability and Exclusive Vacation Flights will make it easy for Apple Vacations’ retail partners to browse options, including enhanced charter flight functionality for flexible date travelers.

Travel advisors will be able to generate personalized sales email quotes embedded with an agency logo for up to 10 recipients featuring six hotel stay or room category options, six feature options and three car options. An enhanced APPLE ACCESS agency website function will allow customers to book commissionable packages online 24/7.

For travel advisors booking groups, seamless access to live group inventory will be complemented by the ability to view and update rooming lists as well as add individual air and other add-on components. An option to apply group payments independently or in one lump sum provides greater flexibility for agents managing group business.
