The only resort-based LandShark Brewery in the Caribbean has opened at the Margaritaville Island Reserve Resort Cap Cana.
The brewery at the Juanillo Beach resort also is brewing LandShark Lager for the first time in the Dominican Republic.
“It’s been an incredible opportunity to bring the first LandShark brewery to the Caribbean exclusively for guests of Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana,” said Juan Castillo, brewmaster at the five-star Dominican Republic resort, which opened in 2021. “Beyond the signature lager, we’re working hard to create a lineup of locally inspired and seasonal craft beers only available here.”
The LandShark Brewery also serves 19 other international beers, including microbrews and local favorites like Presidente. Castillo leads brewery tours and tastings, and the brewpub also has live entertainment and flatscreen TVs for watching sports. LandShark Lager makes an appearance in dishes like “Beer Caviar,” beer-glazed Josper Chicken and LandShark Beer Battered Onion Rings.
The LandShark Brewery is located in the resort’s Entertainment Village, one of 10 food and beverage venues on property.
