Sun Princess is headed to North America, to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale for her inaugural Caribbean season. With the new season comes a host of changes to the onboard dining experiences. These include new onboard locations for dining venues as well as names, all complementing the debut of the ship’s new Sanctuary Collection.
Sanctuary Collection guests will have exclusive access to the new Sanctuary Restaurant, which will be found on Deck 8 aft (prior location of the Americana Diner) and will feature a custom chef’s menu. Other amenities for Sanctuary Collection guests include exclusive relaxation areas, Suite accommodations that range from Suites and Mini Suites to Premium Deluxe Balconies and the Princess Premier bundle with unlimited all-inclusive offerings.
In new dining locations on board Sun Princess, guests will now find The Catch by Rudi on deck 7, adjacent to the Piazza (former location of the Signature Restaurant), while The Butcher’s Block by Dario, which features a shared, family-style table serving up a carnivore’s paradise, is moving to deck 7 forward (in the former location of Crown Grill). And the classically elegant Crown Grill will now be found on deck 7 aft, the former location of the Reserve Collection Restaurant. Meanwhile, the casual dining experience, Americana Diner, will be located on deck 9 aft.
In name changes, Horizons Dining Room (deck 6 aft) has been renamed the Soleil Dining Room, Horizons Dining Room (deck 7 aft) has been renamed the Eclipse Dining Room and Park19 has been renamed the SkyDeck Sports Court & Track.
