Cunard and Abbey Road Studios Unite for Music Experience at Sea

Calling all music lovers: Cunard has struck a perfect chord by partnering with the legendary Abbey Road Studios to bring an exclusive Listening Lounge experience aboard Queen Elizabeth. Launching this autumn, this unique offering invites guests to immerse themselves in a specially curated audio journey in the ship’s Commodore Club.

Come Together with Music

For 60 minutes, your clients can slip on headphones and embark on a themed voyage through sound, featuring handpicked playlists crafted by Abbey Road’s expert team. These playlists spotlight iconic artists who have recorded at Abbey Road over the decades—from Ed Sheeran and Little Simz to legendary acts including The Beatles, Gregory Porter and the Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said in a press statement: “We’re always exploring new ways to make life on board even more special, and incredible voyages deserve incredible soundtracks. Abbey Road Studios is synonymous with iconic musical performances, and this partnership allows us to bring this heritage to sea.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Cunard for this special partnership, which will offer guests a unique way to experience music, wherever their journey takes them,” said Jeremy Huffelmann, General Manager at Abbey Road, in a press statement.

But the experience doesn’t stop at music. Cunard is showcasing Abbey Road’s world-renowned Studio One, the birthplace of some of cinema’s most unforgettable scores. Guests will enjoy sweeping soundtracks from classics like Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter and more recent blockbusters including Black Panther, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Wicked.

Starting this October, during Queen Elizabeth’s maiden Caribbean season departing from Miami, the Listening Lounges will be available on select sea days. For those seeking the ultimate music experience, Cunard is also hosting a special Event Voyage.

Departing Southampton on Oct. 23, 2026, for New York, this week-long crossing celebrates the rich heritage of Abbey Road with live performances, a photography exhibition and Q&A sessions with Abbey Road’s award-winning engineers, offering behind-the-scenes insights into the studio’s innovation and creative legacy.
