Crystal Cruises has announced the name of its first new ocean ship in 25 years: Crystal Grace. The vessel, owned by Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, is scheduled for delivery in May 2028, with its inaugural sailing planned for June 11, 2028, following preview voyages.
“Crystal Grace is more than a name; it’s a promise. It reflects the effortless elegance, generous spirit, and sense of tranquility that define the Crystal experience. Crystal Grace is the embodiment of why we were awarded the World’s Best Cruise Line by Travel + Leisure, combining the best food, service, space, entertainment and shore experiences (by Abercrombie & Kent). With this ship, we are honoring our heritage while continuing to evolve for a new generation of guests,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group.
New Beginnings at Crystal
The 650-passenger ship, based on double occupancy, will measure 61,800 gross tons and continue the brand’s focus on elevated service and design. Crystal Grace will feature all-suite accommodations, a full promenade deck for ocean views and one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios among contemporary ocean lines.
Dining will remain a highlight, including Umi Uma, which is the only Nobu restaurant at sea, and the only Beefbar at sea. Menus by the Michelin-starred Alajmo brothers will be featured at Osteria d’Ovidio. All dining venues will be included in the voyage price.
Abercrombie & Kent will oversee the brand’s land program, offering curated experiences through its network of global destination management companies.
Further information on suite categories will be released in December 2025, with details about the ship’s design and inaugural itineraries to follow over the next several months. The 2028 inaugural season opens for sale in April 2026, with waitlist registration expected ahead of that date.
