Crystal Partners with Abercrombie & Kent to Offer Curated Land Adventures

Crystal is expanding its luxury cruise offering with a new program, By Abercrombie & Kent, that pairs its onboard hospitality with curated land experiences from its sister brand, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K).

The new program, now available for booking on Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony itineraries through 2026, aims to immerse travelers more deeply in destinations through multi-day overland journeys and pre- and post-cruise extensions.

The partnership builds on A&K’s six decades of expertise in cultural and adventure travel, as well as its global network of more than 3,000 staff across 40 countries. Travelers can expect access to sites and experiences often unavailable to the general public, along with seamless logistics such as private charter flights and hand-selected accommodations.

Program Highlights

  • Overland Adventures: Guests can disembark mid-voyage to explore destinations such as the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal or Australia’s Uluru before rejoining the ship at another port. These itineraries combine visits to world landmarks with in-depth cultural encounters.

  • Pre- & Post-Cruise Extensions: These range from safari experiences in Kenya’s Masai Mara to exploring the temples of Angkor Wat, or enjoying Italy’s “Dolce Vita” with truffle hunting, winery dinners and visits to Renaissance sites.

Examples include an Angkor Wat program that incorporates guided tours, a gala dinner with traditional performances and visits to lesser-known temples. In Italy, guests might stay in a restored 11th-century castle while exploring Tuscany and Rome.

The By Abercrombie & Kent collection builds on Crystal’s reputation as a leader in midsize luxury cruising. The initiative follows the A&K Travel Group’s 2022 acquisition of Crystal and its two ships, both of which have undergone extensive refurbishments.
