Intrepid Travel has expanded its presence in Latin America by establishing a new operational hub in Santiago, Chile. This destination management company (DMC) will manage activities across Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, enabling stronger local partnerships and increased operational capacity in a rapidly growing market. The expansion aligns with a notable rise in demand: bookings in South America have increased 20 percent year-over-year and are projected to grow 32 percent in 2026 across these countries.
