O2 Beach Club & Spa, part of Ocean Hotels Group Barbados, has put together four curated island experiences designed to connect guests with the culture, nature and community of Barbados beyond the beach.

Touring Barbados

The Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary experience invites your clients to walk a quiet trail through one of the island’s last natural mangrove wetlands. Along the way, they may see iguanas at the Iguana Tree, reptiles at Rept-Isle and colorful birds in the Gully Aviary. The 2-hour, 15-minute excursion ends at Wildlife Haven, where parakeets, peacocks and turtles can be observed in their natural surroundings. The experience runs on Thursdays and costs $70 per adult and child.

The Island Discovery Experience covers many of Barbados’ most recognized sites, including the Garrison Historic Area, Rihanna Drive, the Platinum Coast, Speightstown, North Point, the Animal Flower Cave and Oistins, with a gourmet lunch at Morgan Lewis Windmill. The 2-hour, 15-minute journey is available on Tuesdays. Admission is $105 for adults and $90 for children.

The Nature’s Hearts Tour explores Welchman Hall Gully, featuring a guided walk through a tropical landscape, with monkey feeding at 10:30 a.m. before continuing along shaded trails. A guide highlights the gully’s history, plant species and wildlife during this 5.5-hour Wednesday excursion. Admission is $100 for adults and $85 for children.

On Fridays, the 3.5-hour Heritage Escape Tour blends cultural exploration with scenic sightseeing. Stops include Gun Hill for panoramic views and Medford Craft World & Earthworks Pottery, where traditional Bajan pottery and crafts are made. Admission is $85 for adults and $65 for children.

Each experience includes round-trip transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle and is led by an experienced ambassador.

Opened in October 2021, O2 Beach Club & Spa is a luxury all-inclusive beachfront property featuring six dining outlets, seven bars, three swimming pools, including a rooftop option and the 5,600-sq.-ft. Acqua spa with ocean views and the island’s only Hammam treatment room. Guest programming includes “how-to” classes ranging from local cooking to learning to play dominoes Bajan style.
