Cruise Departures Expand Across Florida’s Top Ports

Check out these cruise line sailings from three Florida ports—Port Canaveral (Orlando), PortMiami and Port Tampa Bay.

Carnival Sunrise’s New Itineraries from PortMiami

Carnival Cruise Line has announced the next wave of its 2027–2028 deployments, with Carnival Sunrise set to sail a series of 4- to 6-day itineraries from PortMiami beginning May 6, 2027. The program will feature a mix of short cruises to The Bahamas and extended holiday sailings to popular Caribbean destinations.

Carnival Sunrise will continue its short-cruise program, visiting Carnival’s Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, along with select calls to Nassau, The Bahamas. The ship will also offer two 6-day holiday cruises in 2027.

  • Thanksgiving sailing (Nov. 22, 2027): Celebration Key, Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and Montego Bay (Jamaica).
  • Christmas sailing (Dec. 20, 2027): Celebration Key, Amber Cove (Dominican Republic) and Grand Turk (Turks & Caicos).

Royal Caribbean Expands Caribbean Sailings from Florida

Royal Caribbean’s newly announced 2027–2028 Caribbean itineraries, featuring a wide range of short and weeklong cruises departing from three Florida homeports. Launching in April 2027, the lineup includes 2- to 8-night Caribbean getaways aboard the Star of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean will return to Samana, Dominican Republic, and introduce expanded access to its growing collection of private destinations, including Perfect Day at CocoCay, the upcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau (opening December 2025) and Royal Beach Club Cozumel, debuting in 2026.

From Port Canaveral (Orlando):

  • Star of the Seas will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings, including new calls to Samana and Cozumel.
  • Utopia of the Seas returns with 3- and 4-night short getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.
  • Harmony of the Seas, following a 2026 amplification, will sail 7-night adventures to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Jamaica.

From PortMiami:

  • Wonder of the Seas will offer 3- and 4-night escapes to The Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay, with day-pass access to Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.

From Port Tampa Bay:

  • Radiance of the Seas will operate 4- to 8-night Western Caribbean voyages, including visits to Royal Beach Club Cozumel and popular Mexican ports.
