The redesign of JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa’s world-class 18-hole golf courses has been completed. The updated “Soffer” and “Miller” courses offer resort guests improved playing conditions and faster greens. The resort has also announced they will host the Stack & Tilt golf camp in May 2020 under the direction of co-founder and PGA and tour coach, Andy Plummer.
The $1 million plus upgrades were implemented to modernize both courses to create ideal playing conditions for all levels of players from novice to professional. Improvements to the Soffer Course include the addition of all brand new TifEaglegreens, which provide a more consistent green speed and better playing conditions for all players. The Soffer course has five sets of tee boxes that can accommodate all levels, and the Miller Course has six sets of tee boxes. Additionally, there is a newly added fairway bunker on the eighth hole; more land has been added to the ninth hole and a new tee complex for the tenth and16th holes. Updates to the Miller Course include new tee boxes on the ninth and tenth and a brand-new front driving range, chipping and putting greens.

Golf Camp for Grownups
Golf enthusiasts book their trip during the Stack & Tilt Camp, which will be hosted at the club May 2020 in Miami. This event, strictly limited to eight students, offers golfers of all levels the chance to immerse themselves in an intensive 3-day camp while surrounded by world class instructors, such as Andy Plummer who is on staff and available for private lessons as well. The format of the camp allows golfers to develop all areas of their games with multiple stations including Stack & Tilt putting, Short Game System, Trackman, and one-to-one time with Andy Plummer.
