Cabo San Lucas has welcomed the latest gem in its crown of distinguished properties in the adults-only Grand Velas Boutique Hotel Los Cabos, the newest all-inclusive property from Velas Resorts. It joins sister resorts AAA Five-Diamond family-friendly Grand Velas Los Cabos and the adults-only Mar del Cabo by Velas Resorts, the brand’s only EP property.
The property has 79 suites that are all over 900 sq ft in size with a private terrace that sports outdoor seating, a plunge pool and a firepit or a Jacuzzi. The modern Mexican design means neutral colors and natural materials, sleek decor with local art, and high-end amenities, including artisanal mezcal, Dyson hairdryers, a pillow menu, an aromatherapy diffuser, a vitamin C-filtered showerhead, 24-hour concierge service and more.

Velas Resorts is known for its fine dining, and the Grand Velas Boutique continues the tradition with gourmet meals, premium branded beverages and various culinary experiences. The property has a two-Michelin-star consulting chef and a wine selection with bottles from Mexico’s fine wine region. Its Japanese restaurant, Loto, includes the traditional robata grill (slow cooking over an open fire) to complement its menu. The seaside Del Mar is open for buffet and a la carte for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Roca Bar has an amazing view to serve along with its libations, and 51 Bar gives great morning treats and craft cocktails in the evening. This being a Velas property, of course, there’s a dedicated tasting room, Agave, specializing in the best of premium tequilas and mezcals. The boutique hotel will also have a full-service SE Spa, opening in February 2024, with spa treatments inspired by Mexico’s culture.
