Two Florida water parks are expanding their after-dark offerings this summer, with both Walt Disney World’s Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Aquatica Orlando bringing back limited-capacity nighttime events designed to extend guest experiences into the evening hours.
Glow After Hours
At Typhoon Lagoon, Disney H2O Glow After Hours returns on select nights from June 2 through Sept. 5, offering a neon-themed water park experience featuring themed lighting, DJ entertainment and character appearances.
The seasonal event transforms the park after dark with rotating Disney characters, including Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack and Powerline Max, alongside dance parties and interactive entertainment across the park.
The event is scheduled for 13 select evenings this summer, with expanded weekend availability. Tickets are on sale now for guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels and partner properties, and the general public.Â
Aquatica is also continuing its nighttime strategy with the return of AquaGlow, running select dates from May 15 through Sept. 26. The event, now in its third year, transforms the park into a neon-lit evening experience with entertainment zones, enhanced attractions and extended operating hours.
AquaGlow also includes a family-friendly mini rave-style dance experience, an updated laser light show, themed food and beverage offerings, glow-inspired treats and complimentary soft drinks included with admission.
