Crystal River Cruises’ new itineraries for its 2016-2018 season are now open for booking. Earlier today, the cruise line unveiled its line-up of European voyages set to take place aboard its five new luxury river yachts, including the newly acquired and redesigned Crystal Mozart (sailing July 2016), and four newly built vessels—Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler, and Crystal Ravel—which will embark in June and August 2017. Each of the line’s luxury river yachts feature all-inclusive amenities, elegant suites and six-star service. Crystal River Cruises’ upcoming collection focuses on longer and overnight stays and daytime cruising, in addition to sailing less-traveled routes.
The 84-passenger Crystal Debussy will feature 5-, 7- and 10-night Parisian voyages with multiple overnights while sailing the Seine River. It will sail off on her maiden voyage June 4, 2017. Sailings include the Best of Paris, Seine River & Normandy itinerary, which highlights the quaint villages and lush valleys that inspired Impressionists such as Monet and Van Gogh. In addition, the Paris & The Arts itinerary visits the famed Louvre and Normandy’s historic capital of Rouen.
The 110-passenger Crystal Bach’s 14-night itinerary boasts overnight stays in Amsterdam, Netherlands; Basel, Switzerland; and Ruedesheim, Germany as it travels along the Rhine and Moselle rivers; her maiden voyage will be on June 18, 2017. The Classic Rhine itinerary visits the aforementioned overnight ports, as well as Antwerp, Belgium; Nijmegen, Cologne, Cochem, Koblenz, Mainz, Speyer, Kehl, and Breisach, Germany, plus this voyage also allows for additional stays in Frankfurt. The Christmas Markets along the Rhine itinerary visits two of Switzerland’s most popular markets—Barfusserplatz and Munsterplatz in Basel—as well as historical abbeys and cathedrals.
The 84-passenger Crystal Ravel explores France’s most renowned wine region, including Bordeaux, while sailing on the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, as well as the Gironde Estuary. Crystal Ravel takes her maiden voyage on Aug. 8, 2017. The 7-night Bordeaux, the Wine Region & Beyond itinerary spends two nights in Bordeaux, before cruising on to Cadillac, Pauillac, Blaye and Libourne, France; it then heads back to Bordeaux.
The 110-passenger Crystal Mahler will sail on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, and sets sail for her maiden voyage on Aug. 29, 2017. The 16-night Grand Europe itinerary, the longest offered by the Crystal river fleet, visits the iconic windmills of Holland and explores the fairytale villages of Germany’s countryside, with overnights in Budapest, Vienna, Passau and Amsterdam.
