Luxury retreat Borgo dei Conti Resort, located on a 40-acre estate in Umbria, Italy, is set to elevate its guest experience with the debut of 19 new rooms and suites, expanded spa offerings and immersive guest programming.
The adults-only property—part of The Hospitality Experience collection—is introducing La Colonica, a restored 20th-century building featuring suites with panoramic countryside views and spacious layouts. The highlight is the Grand Colonica Suite, complete with vaulted ceilings, a private lift and sweeping views overlooking olive groves.

Claremont Resort & Club’s Rebrand
Claremont Resort & Club, a 22-acre property perched in the Berkeley Hills, has announced a rebrand and a series of forthcoming enhancements as it celebrates its 110th anniversary. To commemorate the rebrand, the property has introduced the Spring Awakening Package, offering guests savings of up to 30% on stays through Dec. 31, 2025, along with a $50 daily dining credit and complimentary self-parking.

Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead has completed a multi-phase transformation. Collaborating with DLR Group and designONE studio, the renovation introduces refreshed guest accommodations, dining venues and elevated spaces for connection and relaxation.
The final phase of the refurbishment features a redesigned lobby with marble floors, curated artwork and a relocated front desk for a more intuitive flow. Anchored by a dramatic three-story waterfall, the lobby also houses a 24-hour gourmet market, spotlighting artisanal sandwiches, local favorites like Montane coffee and Arden drinks and Black-owned brands such as Boon Boona Coffee and Kyri’s Kookies.
A highlight of the renovation is The Fabled, a sophisticated new lounge inspired by storytelling. Overlooking the hotel’s serene gardens, The Fabled offers craft cocktails like The Alchemist’s Elixir and The Fabled Rising, complemented by a menu of small plates curated by Chef Bradley Jones.

Mandarin Oriental Flagship Hotels Refreshed
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is reaffirming its commitment to the guest experience with multi-million-dollar renovation projects for its two iconic flagship properties: Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok.
In Hong Kong, the Group will invest over $100 million in a transformative renovation of its original flagship hotel, which has stood as a city landmark since 1963. Slated for completion by late 2026, the project includes a full redesign of public spaces, refreshed accommodations and new signature suites. Culinary upgrades will see Michelin-starred chefs Daniel Boulud and Daniele Cason launch new venues, while a new Wellness Club concept will enhance holistic offerings.
Meanwhile, in Bangkok, the hotel is preparing for its 150th anniversary in 2026 with extensive updates. Following the River Wing’s 2019 restoration, the hotel’s historic Author’s and Garden Wings will be transformed by Jeffrey Wilkes to reflect lush, garden-inspired interiors. Nanuku Resort Fiji Redesign
Nanuku Resort Fiji has completed a $12 million renovation, transforming its luxury accommodations and public spaces while preserving the resort’s authentic Fijian character. Coinciding with its 10th anniversary, the redesign enhances the guest experience with refreshed interiors and expanded amenities.
The resort’s 37 suites, residences and villas—ranging from one to six bedrooms—now feature a calming design that draws inspiration from Fiji’s lush surroundings. Architectural elements, rich island tones and handcrafted Fijian woodwork create seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara will unveil a new chapter in its evolution after an extensive renovation wraps up this September, in partnership with acclaimed design firm Meyer Davis. Located along the California coastline, the resort’s transformation will create an elevated guest experience with redesigned guestrooms and suites, reimagined public spaces, new culinary concepts and refreshed poolside offerings.
Guestrooms and suites will reflect a serene, sun-drenched style with soft earth tones, natural textures and elements like terracotta tiles, reclaimed wood and equestrian-inspired accents—a nod to Santa Barbara’s cultural roots. Signature accommodations include the Ritz-Carlton Suite and Channel Islands Suite.
Food and beverage venues will also receive a notable refresh. Lulio, formerly the resort’s Bistro, will debut as a Mediterranean-style indoor-outdoor destination, offering coastal cuisine in a variety of artfully designed settings. O Bar & Terrace, a vibrant space named for the Chumash word for water, will serve modern California cuisine and cocktails.
