Andaz Expands with New Hotel in Hong Kong
Hyatt has announced plans for a new addition to its lifestyle portfolio with the debut of expected to open in 2027. The property will anchor Central Crossing, a mixed-use development. Set within Hong Kong’s Central district, the 125-room Andaz Hong Kong Central will place guests steps away from the city’s top restaurants, bars and cultural landmarks.
The location also offers seamless access to major transport hubs, with direct integration to the district’s walkway system and proximity to MTR and Airport Express stations.
Inside, the hotel will reflect the Andaz brand. The Andaz Living Room will serve as a social space in the property. Additional highlights will include an all-day restaurant, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a curated selection of wellness offerings.
A defining feature of the project will be the debut of the first-ever Andaz Village, a retail and lifestyle hub. The Hong Kong opening marks another milestone in the continued expansion of the Andaz brand across Asia Pacific, joining upcoming properties such as Andaz Shanghai ITC (opening late 2025), Andaz One Bangkok (2026) and Andaz Gold Coast (2026), which will introduce the brand to Australia and the Pacific region.

COMO Metropolitan Bangkok Reopens with New Look
COMO Hotels and Resorts has announced the full reopening of COMO Metropolitan Bangkok, unveiling a complete redesign by Italian designer Paola Navone. The reimagined property—featuring 137 refreshed guestrooms and suites—marks Navone’s second collaboration with the brand in Thailand, following her work on COMO Point Yamu in Phuket.
Navone’s redesign features a distinctly modern Thai aesthetic. Natural materials such as wood, ceramic and stone are accompanied by splashes of Buddhist orange and sculptural forms. Design details throughout the property—from the stone-clad lobby counter inspired by temple walls to the bamboo-patterned ceilings recalling traditional Thai screens—blend cultural with urban design.
The revitalized COMO Metropolitan Bangkok also brings fresh dining experiences to the forefront. The hotel’s signature restaurant, nahm, led by Chef Pim Techamuanvivit, has once again earned a Michelin star in the 2025 guide—its eighth consecutive year of recognition. METT Singapore Debuts in Asia
Sunset Hospitality Group has officially announced the opening of , the lifestyle brand’s flagship property in Asia. Located within the historic grounds of Fort Canning Park, the new property features 84 guestrooms with high ceilings and park views.
With a culinary focus, METT Singapore introduces four distinctive venues led by Chef Daniele Sperindio, Director of Culinary and F&B. The lineup includes L’Amo Bistro del Mare, an ode to Italian coastal dining; the Canning Bar & Lounge for craft cocktails and social gatherings; the fine-dining concept Art di Daniele Sperindio; and HANU, a Korean grill experience.
