The Halekulani Okinawa is expected to open this July in the Onna Village on the main island of Okinawa, Japan; and will be located in Okinawa Kalgan Quasi-National Park.

The island of Okinawa offers guests beautiful beaches, and for guests staying at the resort, the property faces one mile of coastline, and features 360 guestrooms, each offering ocean views. Since the property is located in the Okinawa Kalgan Quasi-National Park, guests can also take in the surrounding natural scenery. Though the property is a beach resort, it’s set among lush trees.

The guestrooms offer at least 538 sq. ft. of space, and 47 of the rooms are suites ranging from 828 sq. ft to 3,164 sq. ft.; plus five of the buildings offer villas with their own private pools and natural hot springs.

The property also features four signature restaurants—an all-day dining venue, Innovative, Steak & Wine and Japanese Cuisine. These eateries offer original dishes that bring out the flavor of ingredients from all over Japan, including local Okinawa dishes. At the Innovative restaurant, guests can enjoy dishes by 2-star Michelin chef, Hiroyasu Kawate, who is a consulting chef.

Other amenities include five indoor and outdoor pools, and a spa that features a bath fed by a natural hot spring. Though there are still a few months until the property’s opening date, it is now accepting reservations.
