Accor Brings Fairmont Brand To Thailand With Bangkok Hotel

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, part of Accor, has opened as the first Fairmont Hotels & Resorts property in Thailand. The hotel is located in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit neighborhood and includes 416 guestrooms and 58 suites.

The property was designed by Thai architecture and interior design firm PIA, with floral motifs referencing the ratchaphruek blossom, Thailand’s national flower, carried through the lobby, guestrooms and public spaces. The lobby chandelier is made up of 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls.

“Thailand’s gracious hospitality, rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted appreciation for connection make it a natural home for Fairmont,” said Omer Acar, CEO, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, in a press statement. “Representing a pivotal step in Fairmont’s strategic expansion across Asia, this landmark property follows the debuts of both Fairmont Hanoi and Fairmont Tokyo.”

Fairmont Ups the Ante

Seven food and beverage venues will open in stages through 2026. Harper’s serves a North American-French brasserie menu. AELA Social Bar operates as a daytime lounge that converts into a cocktail bar in the evening. CAYA Pool Club draws on Thai street food for its poolside menu. Wiggle Room, a supper club with its own entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18, opens in mid-September 2026, featuring live music and nightly performances. In December 2026, two additional concepts open on levels 32 and 33, including a rooftop restaurant on level 33 that pairs Italian and Japanese cuisines, alongside a second venue focused on Thai cooking.

Wellness offerings include Fairmont Spa, which focuses on jasmine in its treatment conceptFairmont Studio for yoga, cardio and strength training; and Fairmont Fit, which helps guests maintain routines while traveling.

The hotel offers a Kids Club program and accepts pets up to 66 lbs. Guests booking Fairmont Gold receive access to a dedicated check-in area, private lounge and concierge service. Fairmont properties participate in ALL Accor, Accor’s loyalty and booking platform.
