Intrepid Travel has launched a new range of walking tours in Europe with a focus on the continent’s most classic routes.

The Great Walks of Europe collection includes six treks delivered in a sustainable and accessible way, and led by highly qualified and vaccinated local leaders. The walking tours offer adventures for many fitness levels and include a mix of center-based itineraries, which provide the possibility for a traveler to skip some walks if they wish, and point-to-point hikes, which require participants to complete particular routes to get to the next destination.

Each trip will include stays at small, family-run hotels and other accommodations, with minimal transport used, making them a sustainable option and supporting the local communities that have been affected by the pandemic.

“Fresh air, iconic routes, remote locations and a guarantee of vaccinated trip leaders and fellow travel companions make these new walking tours a safe and desirable option for North American travelers looking to explore Europe,” said Matt Berna, managing director, North America, Intrepid Travel, in a press release statement.

The Great Walks of Europe collection tours depart from April 2022 onwards, and the prices of each trip shown below reflect the current 15 percent off sale running in North America, which ends Sept. 20.
