4. Gaylord Hotels Reopen
Gaylord Hotels has reopened as of today across the country with three resorts opening their doors to guests. Among these are Gaylord Rockies in Colorado, Gaylord Palms in Florida, and Gaylord Opryland in Tenessee, which join the recently opened Gaylord Texan.
Guests can expect family-friendly activities and live entertainment for all ages, all while keeping socially distant. The resorts have also implemented Marriott’s Commitment to Clean protocols, and has partnered with Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be the resorts’ official wellness advisor.

3. The Confidante Miami Beach
The retro-glam property, The Confidante Miami Beach, is now open for guests looking for a relaxing getaway on Miami Beach. The property is following guidelines set by the CDC, Florida Department of Health, and following Hyatt’s Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment while staying true to its playful persona with new and creative safety measures. Guests can expect custom-scented coconut hand sanitizers (with refill stations throughout the property), and art-inspired face masks for guests and employees, because this is Miami after all. Custom-made face masks have been created by the hotel’s local artist partners Aquarela Sabol, Carlos Solano, Rigo Leon and Luis Valle and are available for guest purchase. The Confidante Miami Beach is now offering new package stays, targeting drive markets all over the country, plus a new pet-friendly partnership, and pop up celebration experiences for guests to celebrate missed milestones, plus virtual fitness classes. Guests who are arriving from a road trip can enjoy their new Park & Stay package, starting at $169 per night, which includes free overnight valet and $50 resort credit. The property is also enticing drive in guests by waiving the pet fee, and has partnered with paw.com to offer fun dog-friendly amenities such as a dog tag, a water bowl, and baggie dispencer. Guests arriving from Florida or Georgia can opt for the Residents Staycation package, starting at $149 per night, and including all perks above.
For those opting to create special moments for missed celebrations, the Reclaim Your Memories Experience is the right fit. Guests will receive a DIY celebration-in-a-box either in-room, poolside, or beachside with essentials such as Prosecco, custom-created décor, and four mini pies of the guest’s selection. 2. Orlando Hotels
JW Marriott Orlando is now open, and The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes is planning a July 1 reopening.
In celebration of the July 4th holiday weekend reopening, guests at both the JW Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton can enjoy the Grande Escape package with 15 percent off guestrooms, a $25 daily resort credit, and complimentary parking. 1. W Fort Lauderdale
W Fort Lauderdale is now open and is offering guests a new LauderDeal to enjoy the fun. Guests at the beachfront property can enjoy the iconic rooftop pool, Steak 954, ad the Living Room, which has also resumed evening operations. However, the AWAY Spa is not yet open, but expected to reopen in early July. The property has also recently opened SoBe Vegan serving a menu of vegan options featuring everything from burgers to bowls.
The property is also implementing Marriott International’s safety and cleanliness guidelines including mobile keyless room entry, F&B cashless payment, and plexi-glass dividers at communication points. Social distancing practices, hand sanitation stations throughout, and temperature screenings are also being implemented, in addition and take-out options at Steak 954 are also available to guests.
