Active travel meets California fine wining and dining experiences on the new 6-day Napa on a Bike tour from Getaway Adventures, a biking, hiking and kayaking tour company.

With its first departure scheduled for April 22, 2018, the Napa on a Bike tour will take up to 12 guests on a journey through the back roads of Sonoma and Napa—California’s most popular wine regions—while they indulge in wine tastings at off-the-beaten-path wineries, as well as meals at farm-to-table restaurants. Along the way, cyclists on the tour will explore Dry Creek Valley, the Silverado Trail, the Carneros region, downtown Sonoma, Point Reyes National Seashore, and more.

Your clients can expect to travel on surfaced roads, cycling anywhere from 20 to 40 miles each day. Throughout the journey, a van will be available to carry any purchases, wine, luggage or even guests who may need a break from biking. With the tour also comes full support and gear, including a Specialized Allez Comp road bike, custom riding jersey, water bottle, handlebar bag and helmet.

While additional 2018 departures are scheduled for May 20, June 17, July 1, Aug. 5, Sep. 23, Oct. 21, and Nov. 11, private tours can be arranged at anytime throughout the year. The 6-day trip costs $3,750 pp dbl with a 4-day option available for $2,299 pp. This price includes hotel accommodations, all breakfasts and dinners, four lunches, wine at all meals, wine tastings and entrance fees, as well as gratuities and all transportation.

Getaway Adventures also offers a 6-day Sonoma on a Bike.
