Sea Cloud Cruises will host a 7-night President’s Cruise aboard Sea Cloud Spirit in July 2027, combining luxury sailing along the Iberian coast with regional culinary experiences and an exclusive after-hours visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
The July 20–27, 2027, voyage will sail from Bilbao, Spain, to Lisbon, Portugal, with Kevin Smith, President of the Americas for Sea Cloud Cruises, and his wife, Christina, hosting guests. The sailing will mark the first anniversary of Smith’s appointment and his first President’s Cruise in the role.
Guests will have opportunities to explore destinations including Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela and the Islas Cies, along with a day under full sail and a scenic passage along the Tagus River into Lisbon. A highlight of the voyage is a private, after-hours evening at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, offering guests an opportunity to experience Frank Gehry’s landmark architecture and selected artworks away from regular visiting hours.
The onboard culinary program will showcase regional flavors from northern Spain and Portugal, and wine pairings.

Accommodating up to 136 guests, Sea Cloud Spirit is a three-masted, full-rigged sailing ship that combines traditional seamanship, including sails set by hand, with contemporary comforts and an intimate, yacht-like atmosphere.
Sea Cloud Cruises is positioning the voyage as an opportunity for guests to connect with the brand’s leadership while experiencing the cultural and culinary offerings of the Iberian Peninsula. An optional pre-cruise program in Bilbao and Spain’s Rioja wine region is available July 18–20, 2027.
