Aimbridge All-Inclusive Builds Adults-Only Space Into Resorts

Aimbridge Hospitality, through its Aimbridge All-Inclusive unit, has set aside adults-only sections at two family-friendly resorts in the Dominican Republic. The concept, Amana Retreat, lets advisors book a mixed-age group into one property while the adults in that group sleep, eat and swim apart from the rest of the resort and is available at Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana and Wyndham Alltra Samana.

Aimbridge’s Multigen Advantage

With full access to the larger resort’s amenities, a multigenerational party can split up during the day without splitting its booking across two hotels.

“Plus, being located within Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana means the resort’s vibrant energy is just steps away. It is the perfect formula: sharing the trip with a group or family while enjoying a peaceful sanctuary that feels entirely your own,” said Hilario Peralta, General Manager, Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana, in a press statement.

The two resorts run the program differently. In Punta Cana, 120 guestrooms and suites in two buildings, from tropical-view guestrooms to two-bedroom suites, come with private check-in, a butler and a beach reserved for adults that has its own concierge. Breakfast and lunch are served a la carte at Costa Azul, Brasas Steakhouse is open to Amana guests only, and the Mixology Lounge Experience is included each day. Guestrooms include an upgraded minibar, robes and slippers and a welcome amenity of local Dominican rum; guests also get complimentary hydrotherapy and 20 percent off spa treatments.

Samana groups its 149 guestrooms in designated buildings, handles check-in in the guestroom and swaps the butler for a host and concierge assigned to each stay. Updated categories include the Adults Only Junior Suite, Double Beds and the Adults Only Junior Suite, King Bed, and Amana guests share their own pool and beach, both adults-only, with longer pool hours. Cosecha serves Amana guests breakfast a la carte, UMI is reserved for adults, the poolside snack menu is theirs alone, and they get first call on bookings at its other a la carte venues. Late afternoons bring a signature cocktail hour, then DJ sets at sunset for Amana guests only, and arrivals find a welcome letter from the director and a Mamajuana welcome amenity, the country’s traditional drink.

“With wellbeing at its heart and wellness naturally woven into the stay, Amana gives adults the time and space to rest, reset and reconnect—with themselves, with each other and with the beauty of Samana,” said Alberto Avina, General Manager, Wyndham Alltra Samana, in a press statement.

Why This Matters

This setup answers a problem that shows up in Hilton’s 2027 Trends Report, a Morning Consult survey of travelers in 14 countries: 24 percent named accommodating a group and keeping others happy as a source of pressure on their trips, and 31 percent traveled solo last year to meet people they know at a destination. Amana lets you quote one resort for a family reunion or milestone trip and offer the adults-only section to clients who want it, instead of steering part of the group to a separate adults-only hotel.
