Disney Cruise Line is giving advisors another ship to add to their family cruise conversations: Disney Believe, set to debut Dec. 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The fourth Wish-class ship, Disney Believe will combine familiar Disney Cruise Line favorites with a slate of new entertainment, dining and family experiences. What sets the ship apart is its central theme of promise and possibility, which Disney weaves throughout the ship’s design, entertainment, and guest experiences.

For advisors, that means more than another addition to the growing Disney Cruise Line fleet. Disney Believe brings a new collection of experiences to sell—from an exclusive “Disney Encanto” stage production and a new Frozen-themed family dinner to new adult spaces, kids’ programming and a nearly 2,000-square-foot suite designed around the worlds of Walt Disney World.

What Makes Disney Believe Different?

Disney Believe takes its inspiration from Disney characters who believe in themselves, their dreams and the possibilities ahead. That idea appears throughout the ship, including its central gathering space, the Grand Hall.

Inspired by “Moana” and the point where the sky meets the sea, the Grand Hall features an ocean-inspired design, a statue of Moana and her companions Pua and Heihei, and a dramatic chandelier inspired by the movement of the sea with the “Heart of Te Fiti” at its center.

New Entertainment Gives Advisors More to Talk About

One of the biggest draws for families will be the ship’s new entertainment lineup.

The “Disney Encanto” stage production will debut exclusively aboard Disney Believe, bringing Mirabel and her magical family to the Walt Disney Theatre in a production inspired by the film’s Colombian cultural influences.

Also joining the theatrical lineup is “Tangled: The Musical,” with a reimagined set design and special effects created for Disney Believe. “Disney Seas the Adventure,” featuring Disney and Pixar characters and familiar songs, rounds out the ship’s Broadway-style offerings.

Beyond the theater, families will find Gazelle, an entertainment hub inspired by Disney Animation’s “Zootopia.” During the day, the space will host trivia, games and character encounters. At night, it shifts to adult-exclusive entertainment, silent discos and variety acts.

For the first time on Disney Cruise Line, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will also star in a new family show, giving guests the chance to help the characters solve a case.

A New Frozen Dining Experience

Disney Believe also introduces Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a new restaurant that expands the Frozen universe.

Set in a forest sommerhus courtyard, the experience brings Oaken, Anna and Kristoff into the dining experience, with Oaken’s cousins providing musical entertainment inspired by songs from the Frozen films.

Other new food-and-beverage additions include Inside Out: Joyful Sweets, a dessert shop inspired by “Inside Out 2” with nearly 20 gelato and ice cream flavors; Big Hero Sips, a coffee shop inspired by “Big Hero 6”; and Caf Kakamora, inspired by the coconut creatures from “Moana.”

Families can also grab Mediterranean-inspired food at Pluto’s Pita Platters, a new food stall exclusive to Disney Believe.

Adults Get New Spaces, Too

Disney isn’t leaving adults out of the new experiences.

Sea Notes will offer a piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto, while Wishing Well takes its cues from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, creating a storybook-style gathering space with live music and cocktails, mocktails, spirits and coffee.

At Skygazers, an observatory-inspired pub, guests can settle in beneath celestial maps and astronomical details while enjoying craft brews, specialty cocktails and light bites—and watching live sports.

Families Get Plenty of Flexibility

Disney Believe will continue Disney Cruise Line’s focus on accommodations designed around families. Most staterooms feature the line’s signature split-bath concept, generous storage and elevated beds with under-bed space.

Approximately 70 percent of staterooms include a verandah, while more than 450 connecting doors make it easier to accommodate larger families and multigenerational groups.

Kids ages 3 to 10 will have access to Disney’s Oceaneer Club, which features Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain’s Deck.

Exclusive to Disney Believe, the entrance to the Oceaneer Club takes kids into the world of “Monsters, Inc.,” complete with the iconic “Caution: 2319” warning and Mike Wazowski.

Tweens can hang out at Edge, teens can gather at Vibe, and older kids have The Hideaway, giving families dedicated spaces for different age groups.

A Standout Suite for Luxury-Focused Families

For advisors selling high-end family vacations, one of the ship’s most distinctive accommodations is the Believe Tower Suite.

The nearly 2,000-square-foot, two-story suite sleeps up to eight and includes two main bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Located within the forward funnel, the suite features floor-to-ceiling windows and design details inspired by the different themed lands of Magic Kingdom Park.

The living room will feature fireworks- and balloon-inspired lighting and artwork depicting Cinderella Castle, giving the accommodation a distinctly Disney Parks connection.

Where Will Disney Believe Sail?

Disney Believe will launch with 4- and 5-night sailings from Port Everglades, taking travelers to the Caribbean and The Bahamas.

Itineraries will include stops at one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations: Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

For advisors, the South Florida departure point also makes Disney Believe an easy ship to pair with a Florida pre- or post-cruise stay, particularly for families flying into the region.

Disney Cruise Line is adding ships across multiple markets, including the Disney Adventure in Singapore, a planned Disney cruise presence in Japan in 2029 and additional ships that will bring the fleet to 13 ships by late 2030.
