Trafalgar Launches Godmother Search for New Seine River Ship

Trafalgar is looking for a very special traveler to christen its newest river ship—and travel advisors can help their clients make the journey.

The tour operator has launched The Great Godmother Search for Trafalgar Dreamer, which will debut on France’s Seine River in April 2027. The contest invites past Trafalgar guests to share a meaningful travel story or memory for the chance to become the ship’s Godmother and sail on its inaugural voyage.

A Perk for the Winning Advisor

Here’s where travel advisors come in: If the winning guest names their travel advisor in the application, that advisor will also receive a complimentary spot on the inaugural sailing.

Trafalgar is encouraging advisors to share the opportunity with past clients who may have a memorable Trafalgar story to tell. Advisors should not submit entries on behalf of their guests, and Trafalgar reminds applicants to include their advisor’s name when entering.

The initiative continues a tradition Trafalgar started with Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie, whose Godmothers were past guests Cassie Estrella-Roca and Kate McIntosh, respectively.

Dreamer Heads to the Seine

Trafalgar Dreamer will begin sailing the Seine in April 2027 as part of the new Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary. The itinerary will combine Trafalgar’s guided travel approach with local experiences and connections across Paris, Normandy and the Seine.

Past Trafalgar guests have until Oct. 29, 2026, to submit their stories.
