Elegant Hotels Group has announced the conversion of Barbados’ Tamarind to a premium all-inclusive resort, marking their fourth all-inclusive property on the island and one of eight overall in its portfolio of Caribbean hotels. The new all-inclusive pricing, which goes into effect on Oct. 1, 2019, will offer guests unlimited all-day dining options at Sugar Cane Room and 246 Bar & Restaurant. Additionally, as part of the all-inclusive program, guests can enjoy a curated dinner menu at the award-winning Daphne’s restaurant located next door.

Spread along a 750-ft. stretch of white crescent beach on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados, Tamarind features 101 guestrooms and suites. During this transformation, the Mediterranean-inspired retreat will also bolster its kids programming and entertainment, while extending the hours of its popular Flying Fish Kids Club for children ages 3-12. Kids can enjoy outdoor movie nights, baking classes and beach sport challenges. Teenagers can play games with new friends at the Tamarind Teens Den and try watersport activities such as waterskiing, kayaking, snorkeling, and stand-up paddle boarding at the Aqua School.

Guests at Tamarind will also continue to enjoy Elegant Hotels’ signature inclusions such as motorized and non-motorized watersports, themed dining, complimentary WiFi, and beach & pool ambassador service. Tamarind also features an adults-only pool for couples looking for privacy, a fitness center and a boutique spa.
