Pan Am is returning to Africa through a partnership with SafariScapes, introducing a new Pan Am Journey called A Journey to Reimagine Africa. The 19-day, 18-night program begins in June 2027, carrying 42 travelers from New York on a private Pan Am aircraft. The flight experience includes lie-flat first-class seating, multi-course dining and premium wine and spirits served with Pan Am’s signature service.

The journey spans Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa, combining air travel, exclusive ground experiences and luxury accommodations curated by SafariScapes. Guests will stay in hand-selected lodges and villas reflecting regional character and conservation values. The itinerary also includes travel aboard Rovos Rail, one of Africa’s most recognized trains, adding a nostalgic element to overland exploration. SafariScapes, with offices in Texas and South Africa, manages logistics and on-the-ground operations.
