Exodus Adventure Travels has introduced Wild at Heart, a significant fundraising campaign focused on protecting endangered species worldwide. This initiative, supported by the Exodus Adventure Travels Foundation, expands the company’s conservation efforts across its key destinations.

Exodus Goes the Extra Mile
The Wild at Heart campaign builds upon Exodus’ existing conservation projects, including safeguarding tiger habitats in India, protecting elephants in Kenya and engaging communities in bear preservation in Italy. Two new projects have been added to the roster: saving endangered primates in Vietnam and supporting jaguar conservation in Costa Rica.
In Vietnam, the Primate Survival Project focuses on protecting some of the world’s most endangered primates, including the Cao Vit Gibbon, the Tonkin Snub-Nosed Monkey and the Delacour’s Langur. This project, in partnership with Fauna & Flora, places local communities at the forefront of conservation efforts. The initiative trains the residents as rangers, conducts drone-based surveys to assess primate populations and provides specialized training to conservation staff. Future plans include developing eco-tourism opportunities such as guided wildlife walks and conservation-focused village visits.
The Jaguar Resilience Project in Costa Rica’s Piedras Blancas region addresses the disappearance of the White-Lipped Peccary, a crucial prey animal for jaguars. Led by Osa Conservation, this project supports the reintroduction of the White-Lipped Peccary into the wild and includes long-term monitoring of the forest’s response to this reintroduction. The initiative also focuses on sustainable tourism development, environmental education and training local Rewilding Ambassadors.
Exodus Adventure Travels ensures that 100 percent of donations go directly to on-the-ground projects. Even small contributions can make a significant impact: $6 could fund batteries for cameras monitoring jaguar prey species in Costa Rica, while $15 could provide essential gear for a local Rewilding Ranger in Vietnam.
For the first time, U.S. residents can make tax-deductible contributions to the Exodus Adventure Travels Foundation through the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). This option allows donors to support global conservation efforts while potentially benefiting from tax incentives.
