Sandos Hotels & Resorts is headed into a new chapter for its eco-focused all-inclusive resort in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen. The 955-room property, formerly known as Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, will now be called Sandos Caracol Nature Resort & Water Park. The rebranding follows a multi-million-dollar renovation across the resort.

The name change reflects the property’s commitment to providing guests with experiential opportunities, emphasizing its connection to nature and the rich Mayan heritage of the region. It also focuses on one of the resort’s most popular attractions: the 29-slide water park, which is included in the all-inclusive package for all guests.
Recent upgrades to the resort include renovations to several dining outlets, common areas and room categories. The property has also added new cenotes and an adults-only beach club.

Guests can choose from standard rooms, family rooms or the exclusive Select Club adults-only section.
