This summer, the Canary Islands’ Fuerteventura has introduced a new offering for your clients: Paradisus Fuerteventura. The resort, located on the famous Sotavento Beach, is the island’s first high-end, all-inclusive hotel experience. This addition is Paradisus by Melia’s third property in the Canary Islands.
It’s All Included at Paradisus Fuerteventura
Guests can tailor their stay at Paradisus Fuerteventura by choosing from a variety of activities, ranging from relaxing and enjoying the view to more active pursuits. The resort’s design draws inspiration from its stunning surroundings, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and it incorporates elements of the local environment into its architecture, craftsmanship, cuisine and guest experiences.
The resort introduces Wellness. Designed by Destination, a philosophy centered on personalized stays that promote balance and well-being. It allows your clients to set their own pace, step away from daily routines and reconnect with themselves and their travel companions.
Paradisus Fuerteventura’s architecture reflects the island’s volcanic and oceanic setting, blending natural materials with organic forms. The property has 361 guestrooms and suites, including ocean-view accommodations decorated with regional art. It also boasts four swimming pools, including one filled with saltwater.
The resort’s location on Sotavento Beach, a world-renowned wind and kitesurfing destination, includes the prestigious Rene Egli by Melia watersports center. A unique tidal phenomenon creates a lagoon during high tide, offering ideal conditions for water activities, watersports and family swimming.
Paradisus Fuerteventura’s target market is everyone from families and friends to couples and solo adventurers. The resort is especially fun for multigenerational families, offering a range of activities adapted for children and innovative programs for younger guests. The Wellness for Families program encourages shared experiences such as MINI Zumba, Kids Pool Games, MINI Yoga and KIDS Pilates.
For those looking for extra relaxation, wellness professionals have curated a series of sessions that blend traditional and contemporary approaches. Offerings include sound healing, seaside meditation, facial treatments and water rituals. Active guests can participate in windsurfing, kitesurfing, volcano excursions and themed parties.
The resort also offers immersive experiences, including aloe vera and local crafts workshops, Canarian cheese tastings, and sunset concerts.
Paradisus Fuerteventura has seven restaurants, offering a range of dining options from casual poolside fare to upscale international cuisine. MAHOS, led by chef German Ortega, has a signature menu celebrating local ingredients and sustainable culinary practices. This adults-only dining experience is available to guests of The Reserve.
The Reserve, an adults-only service, offers elevated experiences including personalized concierge services, a private lounge, exclusive pools and priority access to activities and restaurants.
Of note: This launch is part of Melia Hotels International’s long-term investment in Fuerteventura, which will soon include ZEL Fuerteventura, the island’s first lifestyle hotel.
