The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has announced details regarding Harmonies of Hope, a special benefit concert scheduled for December 10, 2025, in North York, Ontario, to support the island’s recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
Taking place at the Meridian Arts Centre, the concert will bring together performers such as Shawn Jones, Quisha Wint, Jully Black, Mark Steele and Renee Rowe for an evening of music inspired by Bob Marley’s iconic catalog.
Proceeds for Rebuilding & the Community
All proceeds will go directly toward rebuilding efforts in the communities most impacted by Hurricane Melissa, including infrastructure repairs, restoration of critical services and community support programs.
JTB notes that the goal is not only to raise funds but also to unite the island, travel partners and supporters of Jamaica at a moment when the island’s resilience and cultural spirit remain front and center.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert running from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a reception. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster, costing $150 per person.
