Fairmont Grows Its ‘Special Happens’ Experiences Program

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor, has added eight experiences to its Special Happens… program. They are grouped into four categories: After Dark, In the Spotlight, Around the Table and In the Wild.

After Dark

  • Fairmont Tokyo: A Private Night of Music, Cocktails & Tokyo’s Listening Bar Culture at OFF RECORD closes the hotel’s hidden listening bar to outsiders. Bar Director Hideyuki Saito leads four chapters tied to J-Pop, UK Rock, Reggae and American Soul, each with a signature cocktail, a bite and storytelling from a Tokyo-based DJ. Guests also take the decks for a private session and stay in the Presidential Suite, which has premium in-room audio and vinyl selections.
  • Fairmont Mayakoba: Symphony in a Cenote – An Extraordinary Night, Carved in Stone and Sound brings guests by candlelight into a cenote for live music, canapes and Champagne. It runs one night only, Oct. 30, 2026.

In the Spotlight

  • Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi: Karam: A Journey of Emirati Hospitality fills a full day. Guests start with Arabic coffee and dates, then take a private transfer to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, with an abaya arranged for female guests. Back at the hotel, Chef Muna Al Mansoori hosts them in the kitchen before a meal at Mazaj.
  • Fairmont El San Juan Hotel: The Grand Performance Experience Stay pairs a personalized styling session with a turn on stage alongside a live band at Chico Cabaret. The hotel has hosted Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Liza Minnelli.
  • Fairmont Golden Prague: The Ultimate Curated Music Experience is a collaboration with dopeYEAH, a private music club. Each stay is tailored and can include concerts, private storytelling and access to spaces closed to the public. It is available only to hotel guests.

  • Fairmont Quasar Istanbul: The Spice Route starts after Istanbul’s Spice Bazaar closes to the public. A master merchant guides guests through five centuries of spice-trade history. At Aila, they blend their own spices before a private chef-led tasting dinner.
  • Fairmont Copley Plaza: The annual Holiday Bacchanal Dinner turns the hotel lobby into a dining room for one night each year. Guests get Champagne and live music, then a five-course dinner paired with wines.

In the Wild

  • Fairmont Tremblant: Beyond the Slopes includes private Cadillac transfers between Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and the hotel. First Tracks with a private guide starts 40 minutes before the mountain opens. Afterward, guests settle into a private winter dome on the Apres-Ski terrace, with Canada Goose lending gear, Champagne and hors d’oeuvres. The package includes a night in the new Presidential Suite, plus a private in-suite dinner and breakfast at Le Comptoir.
