Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino has officially opened following a multi-phase transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe. The newly rebranded resort celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring longtime Caesars partner Lisa Vanderpump, officially ushering in a new chapter for the iconic property.
Reimagined Resort for Lake Tahoe Hospitality
The debut completes an extensive renovation designed to modernize the longtime Lake Tahoe destination while preserving its legacy. Guests will experience a redesigned lobby, an updated casino floor and a collection of new restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.
“With Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we set out to create something truly distinctive for this market. An experience that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with the energy and innovation our guests expect,” said Anthony Carano, President & COO of Caesars Entertainment, in a media statement. “The grand opening represents the realization of that vision and the beginning of an exciting new era for Lake Tahoe.”
New Dining, Nightlife and Gaming Experiences
Among the property’s new offerings are renovated guestrooms, the High Dive Pool & Lounge, and several high-profile dining concepts, including WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, developed in partnership with Clique Hospitality.
The resort has also refreshed its gaming offerings with new slot machines, updated table games, redesigned poker and high-limit areas and a renovated Caesars Sportsbook. Additional venues include Cleo’s, a coffee-and-cocktail concept that transitions from day to night, along with the new Centro and Celeste bars.
“Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalize it through a more modern, design-forward lens,” said Karie Hall, SVP and General Manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, in press statement. “The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else.”
Together with neighboring Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, Caesars now offers nearly 1,250 guestrooms on the South Shore.
