Vietnam’s resort scene is expanding its experiential offerings with a trio of new launches.
Alma Resort Cam Ranh has debuted a large-scale cultural performance celebrating Vietnamese heritage and folklore, while Fusion Resorts is enhancing its wellness and culinary positioning with a slate of new rejuvenation programs and elevated romantic dining experiences.
Celebrating Vietnam’s Rich Heritage
Alma Resort Cam Ranh’s open-air amphitheater is now home to The Stage – Alma Show, a 70-minute cultural spectacle created through a Vietnamese–Korean collaboration. Presented four times daily for up to 400 guests per show, the performance is a vibrant tribute to Vietnam’s five elements of nature—earth, water, fire, wood and metal. The immersive experience blends traditional and modern entertainment, including dancers, magicians, water puppetry, special effects, an Ao Dai fashion show and a flash mob. The show, which involves audience interaction, opens with a reenactment of the Cham people’s Apsara dance, honoring the region’s ancient Champa heritage.
Meanwhile, the Magic and Water Puppet Show offers a 50-minute blend of traditional Vietnamese storytelling and illusion. The performance includes 30 minutes of authentic water puppetry, with 10 professional puppeteers navigating chest-deep water to bring village life, farming scenes and national legends to life. The final 20 minutes showcase water-themed magic acts.
Wellness Journeys
A trio of retreats at three Fusion properties in Vietnam are focused on infusing wellness into your client’s travels.
The 4-day Healing Retreat at Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, which puts the focus on mind-body healing, is guided by a wellness master offering daily sessions in yoga, pranayama, meditation, aerial yoga and sound healing. Also included is a 50-minute spa treatment every afternoon, followed by personalized wellness remedies such as a re-energizing chakra balancing as well as a health-conscious menu. Available through Dec. 31, 2025.
Running Sept. 7-13, the 5-day Wellness Master & Panchakarma Retreat at Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion, meanwhile, is a traditional Ayurvedic program with vegetarian meals and detox teas, as well as personal health consultations. The retreat begins with a personalized assessment to determine the ideal course of treatments, which can include a Four Hand Massage as well as herbal steam baths.
Your clients can take in the magic of the moon’s glow during Maia Resort Quy Nhon — A Fusion Resort’s Full Moon Retreat, taking place every full moon till Oct. 31, 2025. Participants will take part in a tailored series of immersive programs and activities by professional coaches, and a sound healer and herbal therapist, including sunset yoga, painting meditation and mantra chanting as well as kayak excursions and spa treatments.
Cuddle Up, Foodies
Fusion Resorts has also launched romantic dining experiences at Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang and Fusion Resort Cam Ranh, offering breathtaking coastal settings.
Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang’s Sunset & Serenity is an intimate beachfront dining experience on Vietnam’s Non Nuoc Beach, set under a beautifully decorated canopy with flowing drapes, torchlight and the backdrop of a golden sunset over the ocean. Couples can savor a premium menu featuring prime steak, fresh seafood and a choice of wine or cocktails.
Fusion Resort Cam Ranh, meanwhile, has rolled out a Romantic Dinner Series that includes: Romantic Dinner on the Grass; Enchanted Garden Dinner; Standard Romantic Dinner on the Beach and Luxury Romantic Dinner on the Beach.
