Universal Orlando Resort will bring back its Halloween-season offerings in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter this fall, with the return of Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle and the arrival of Death Eaters in Diagon Alley.
Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle will take place on select nights from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1 at Universal Islands of Adventure. The projection show uses projection mapping, special effects, lighting and music from the Harry Potter films to transform Hogwarts Castle after dark.
The experience returns for the first time since 2022, featuring Dementors, Death Eaters and other elements inspired by Lord Voldemort’s forces.
Meanwhile, guests visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida can encounter Death Eaters as they roam the area on select days and nights from Aug. 27 through Nov. 1.
The seasonal offerings also include Dark Arts-inspired merchandise, including a new Second Generation Interactive Wand modeled after Lord Voldemort’s wand. Guests can also visit Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley, the dark-themed shop known for its collection of unusual magical objects and artifacts.
