The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta is set to undergo a significant transformation, evolving into an all-inclusive beach resort by May 2026. This change will introduce The Westin Playa Vallarta, marking the brand’s first all-inclusive property in Mexico.

Westin’s New Look
Located on 14 acres of lush tropical landscape near Marina Vallarta, the new Westin Playa Vallarta will offer a fresh perspective on all-inclusive travel, combining culinary journeys, enriching adventures and cultural encounters that showcase the beauty of the Mexican Pacific.
The resort is conveniently located just minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Its transformation is part of an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation project that has been in progress for the past year, reimagining every aspect of the property.
The resort’s design will blend iconic architecture with lush landscapes and panoramic ocean views. Upgraded recreational facilities will include refreshed pools, new pickleball and padel courts, and the signature WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio. The Heavenly Spa will offer modern treatments designed to rejuvenate both body and mind. Of note: The property will offer both adults-only areas and family-friendly spaces.
Accommodations at the new Westin Playa Vallarta will comprise 281 redesigned suites, including 30 private plunge pool suites and 16 swim-up guestrooms. The resort will also have 10 culinary and entertainment venues, ranging from an open-air, botany-inspired cocktail lounge to social hubs and artisanal retail spaces.
Until the transformation is complete, The Westin Puerto Vallarta continues to welcome your clients. Bookings for stays through April 23, 2026, can be made through the current website. Reservations for stays beginning May 1, 2026, will be available on the new resort’s booking platform.
